Eating at home can be one of the quickest and best ways to cut costs for your family.
You'll also eat a lot healthier too since you're in control of food preparation. And, these recipes for budget meals have been adapted for today's health conscience lifestyles.
Just think, if you set a goal to eat at least five meals a week at home, for a family of four, you'll save an average of between $4,000 to $8,000 a year depending on where you eat out.
The numbers really do add up in your favor when preparing and cooking your own meals at home.
You'll save even more money and eat healthier if you learn to 'make your own groceries' which is just what this cookbook will teach you how to do. You'll learn to make your own condiments, spice mixes, baby food, bbq sauce, etc. and all with no preservatives and no additives.

The original 'Make Your Own Groceries' cookbook was released in the eighties and is available through Amazon at this link Make Your Own Groceries.
It's an excellent book that my mom bought when it was originally released and now that her family is all grown and gone, she's handed it down to me and it still gets used today.
I've included a collection of recipes for budget meals for you to enjoy. They are budget friendly and easy to prepare. Many are devised for a family of four, so plan on a little more if you have more to feed or less if your not feeding as many.
Enjoy!
